Brief Information – Sashastra Seema Bal is prompted in March 1963 with the purpose of acquiring ‘Total security preparedness’ in the remote border areas for performing a’ stay-behind’ role in the matter of a war.
SSB has released SSB Job Vacancy 2020 notification and Applications are invited in the prescribed format eligible Officers for filling up the following posts in Sashastra Seema Bal as per applicability criteria given below. Candidates should go through the full advertisement carefully before applying for the post and ensure that they are entitled for the the eligibility conditions like Age-Limit/Educational Qualifications (EQs)/ work Experience/ Caste/ Category etc. as indicated in this recruitment notification.

Required Educational & Professional Qualification:
Driver( Male): i) Matriculation or its equivalent from acknowledged Board.
ii Must acquired valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
Laboratory Assistant: Matriculation with Science from acknowledged Board or Institution.
ii) Should have certificate in Laboratory Assistant Course from an Institution runs under Central Government or State Government
Veterinary: Matriculation with Science as a main subject from a acknowledged Board or University. Desirable: One year work experience in handling of various species of animals, in a reputed Veterinary Hospital.
Ayah ( Female ): i) Matriculation with science from a acknowledged Board or Institution.
ii) Acquired the first Aid Exam pass certificate from Red Cross Society or should be skilled Dai.
iii) One-year work experience in relevant area.
Carpenter, Plumber and Painter: i) Matriculation or its similar from a acknowledged Board.
ii) Two years work experience in relevant field; or
iii) One year certificate course from a reputed Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year work experience in the relevant profession ; or
iv) Two years Diploma from a reputed Industrial Training Institute in the respective field or similar field; and v. Must passed trade test.
Cook, Washerman, Safaiwala, Barber, Water Carrier, Waiter, Tailor, Gardner and Cobbler: a) Matriculation or its equal from a recognized board with.
(i) Two years work experience in respective profession; or
(ii) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the profession or
(iii) Two years Diploma from reputed Industrial Training Institute in the profession or similar profession.
(b) Must passed trade exam. Multi talented candidates will be given preference.
Age Limit : 18 to 27 yrs
