Essential Qualification –
Medical
M.D. in Preventive and Social Medicine with one year relevant experience or MBBS & MPH Degree with 2 years relevant experience
OR
M.B.B.S Degree with 4 years experience in the area of Public Health/ Preventive and Social medicine / Epidemiology after obtaining MBBS Degree.
Non-Medical
B.V.Sc & AH / BDS Degree recognized by VCI / DCI with five (5) years’ experience in Public Health/Epidemiology after B.V.Sc & AH / BDS
OR
1st Class Master Degree in Epidemiology / Biostatistics / Data Analysis/Data Sciences/Social Sciences with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
OR
2nd Class Master Degree in Epidemiology / Biostatistics / Data Analysis/Data Sciences/ Social Sciences + PhD with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualification –
a) A Doctorate in Preventive and Social Medicine/Epidemiology / Veterinary Public Health / Epidemiology from a recognized University/ Institute
b) Proven experience in scientific writing communication as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed Pubmed indexed journals as primary or corresponding author
c) Additional Post Doctoral Research/ teaching experience in above subjects in recognized institute(s)
d) Working Knowledge of Statistical Packages like SPSS, R and spread sheets such as MS Excel or Redcap.
Age limit – 40 years
Emoluments –
Medical: Consolidated salary of Rs. 64,000/- + HRA
Non Medical: Consolidated salary of Rs. 51,000/- + HRA
Duration –
One Year (Renewable for the project duration subject to performance and project requirement)
