Short Information: Central Silk Board (CSB), Bangalore has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Scientist – C, Scientist-B and Assistant. Eligible candidates can apply online through the Central Silk Board’s official website @csb.gov.in on or before 17 July 2020.

Total No. of Vacancies and Age Limit:
Scientist-C: 03 Vacancies, Age- 40 years
Scientist-B: 59 Vacancies, Age- 35 years (UR-26, EWS-06, OBC-12, SC-08, ST-02, PWD-02),
Scientist-B (CSTRI Units): 15 Vacancies, Age- 35 years (UR-16, EWS-01, OBC-04, SC-02, ST-01, PWD-01)
Assistant (Technical): 02 Vacancies, Age- 30 years (UR)
Age relaxation as per existing govt. rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Scientist-B: Post Graduate degree in Science / Post Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences.
- Scientist-B CSTRI – B.E/ B.Tech in Textile Technology
- Scientist-C: Post Graduate degree in Zoology from any recognized University with 04 year of experience in Research and Development/Academic Institutes/Science & Technology Organizations in the field of Zoology.
- Assistant : Graduate Degree in Entomology/Zoology/Agriculture/Sericulture/ Chemistry with minimum 50% marks.
Selection Procedure:
The selection of the candidates will be based on the Online/Written Test and Interview . 75% weightage will be given for Online/Written Test marks and 25% weightage will be given for Interview marks.
NOTE: No Interview for the vacancy posts of Assistant (Technical).
