Renault Triber 2025 Facelift Launched: What’s New in Design, Features & Price?

The Renault Triber facelift has officially been launched, offering a fresh update to one of India’s most budget-friendly 7-seater cars. Priced from ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Triber packs in new design elements, added features, and upgraded safety without stepping too far from its value-for-money positioning.

Design and Exterior Changes

The facelift brings subtle tweaks to the exterior. You’ll notice a reworked grille, new LED DRLs integrated into the headlamp unit, and a redesigned bumper that gives the car a slightly more modern appearance. The alloy wheels have also been updated, lending a more premium feel. Renault is now offering the Triber in new color options like Stealth Black and a fresh dual-tone finish for higher variants.

Interior and Features

Step inside, and the Triber facelift looks more refined than before. The highlight here is the new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a fully digital instrument cluster, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents for all three rows. These additions make the cabin feel more contemporary and practical, especially for families.

Safety Features

One of the most important upgrades is in the safety department. The new Renault Triber now comes with six airbags in the top variant, including side and curtain airbags. ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC) are also part of the package. A 360-degree camera is available as well, helping with tight parking in city areas.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, there’s no change. The Triber facelift continues with the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. While there’s no turbo or hybrid option yet, the engine is tuned for efficiency and urban drivability.

Mileage and Fuel Efficiency

The claimed mileage for the manual variant is around 20 km/l, while the AMT offers slightly less. In real-world conditions, drivers can expect between 16–18 km/l depending on city or highway use. For a 7-seater, that’s a decent figure, especially in this price segment.

Is There an EV Version?

As of now, there is no EV variant of the Triber. However, some EV-like features such as the digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, and touchscreen controls add a modern touch. Renault hasn’t announced any plans for a Triber EV yet, but given the market trend, it could be a future possibility.

Luxury and Premium Additions

While still a budget MPV, the Triber facelift tries to add a premium touch with faux leather upholstery, chrome accents inside the cabin, and ambient lighting in top variants. These changes, though not luxury-grade, do lift the overall look and feel of the vehicle.

Pricing and Variant Breakdown

The Renault Triber facelift starts at ₹6.29 lakh and goes up to around ₹8.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully-loaded variant. It remains one of the most affordable 7-seater cars in India. Despite being priced in the entry-level segment, the number of features offered makes it stand out.

Review Summary

The updated Triber doesn’t try to do too much but delivers smart updates where they matter. It remains a practical, spacious, and family-friendly car with a few modern upgrades. If you’re looking for an affordable 7-seater with decent safety and modern-day features, the Renault Triber facelift is worth a look.
