LPG Price Cut: Check Latest Cylinder Rates in Your City!
Good news for hotels and restaurants – commercial LPG cylinder prices have been reduced once again. From September 1, 2025, a 19 kg cylinder will now cost less, with prices cut by up to ₹51 depending on the city.
What Happened?
Oil companies announced the revision on September 1. In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs around ₹1,631, while in Mumbai it is priced at ₹1,584. Kolkata and Chennai have also seen noticeable reductions.
Why It Matters
The cut brings some relief to restaurants, hotels, and street food vendors, who rely heavily on LPG for cooking. With operational costs already high, this drop in cylinder rates comes as a welcome update.
Domestic Cylinders Unchanged
It’s worth noting that the price cut applies only to commercial LPG. Domestic cylinder prices remain the same for now, leaving households still waiting for relief.
